Hello, I'm Alys and welcome to my book blog. I'm seventeen years old and reading is one of my passions. I guess this section of the site is to tell you a little bit about myself so here it goes.

First I'll talk about my interests. Lets go with the obvious one first, I adore books and collecting them as you probably do too. I'm a really big fan of art and design as well as photography. I've only actually got into taking my own pictures this year (2017) but I'm really enjoying it. Another hobby I enjoy is learning about mythology, for example Greek gods and goddesses. I'm a sucker for the Hades and Persephone book retellings. I also enjoy astronomy, tea, laughing and having deep chats with my group of best friends.

 

Next I suppose I'll chat about films. I love, love, love Star Wars. It's my favourite film series ever and who doesn't love it?! I'm also obsessed with Lord of the Rings, The Hobbits, the Harry Potter films and so many more. I especially love all the classic girly sleepover films like Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging (if you haven't watched it, thank me later!)

I'm sure I've left lots of stuff out, like the little things that make up our personality but I'm sure that's a good summary of lil ol me.
